What You Will Do: The Core of the Role
This position serves as a key bridge between internal operations and external financial reporting, ensuring the smooth flow of funds in and out of the company.

• Full-Cycle Ownership (High Volume): Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, including booking approximately 200 approved invoices monthly into the ERP system (Optima), ensuring all details (VAT, cost center, due date) are correctly logged before payment.
• Payment Execution & Reconciliation: Execute payment schedules, including exporting approved payment files, handling manual payments (proformas, foreign currencies), and executing Split Payment procedures for VAT invoices.
• Audit-Ready Books: Maintain and reconcile AP/AR ledger accounts to the highest audit standards at month-end, ensuring ledgers comply with both local GAAP and Group consolidation requirements.
• Expense & Credit Card Management: Take responsibility for the full processing cycle of expenses.
• Compliance and Verification: Proactively analyze bill runs and transactions to identify anomalies, prevent fraud, and ensure robust transaction verification protocols are strictly followed. This includes checking reports to assign costs as taxable or non-taxable and transferring VAT invoices to the VAT register.
• Closing Excellence: Ensure timely and accurate submission of all monthly closing figures and supporting documentation for assigned entities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience: Proven working knowledge and experience within an Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable function, ideally with experience handling high-volume transaction processing.
• Financial Acumen: Ability to analyze situations using prescribed guidelines and build continued knowledge of company processes and customers.
• Communication: Excellent command of English is mandatory. Proficiency in German is a significant plus for interacting with European entities and authorities.
• Mindset: You are proactive, quality-focused, and comfortable building productive working relationships across the business.
