About the role:

Devlight is looking for a Business Analyst with strong systems analysis skills to transform client ideas into structured product concepts and technical documentation. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed system architectures, process models, and documentation that enable the team to accurately implement client requirements.

Your future responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements with a focus on system architecture and process modeling (UML, BPMN, DFD).
• Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), backlogs, and data models to support project evaluation and scope definition.
• Create detailed diagrams, Use Case models, and Data Flow diagrams to clarify system functionalities and non-functional requirements.
• Produce technical specifications, business requirement documents (BRD), system requirement specifications (SRD), user stories, and other relevant documentation, considering the system's architecture and component interactions.
• Conduct systemic and business analyses, analyze workflows, processes, and user behaviors for project optimization and automation opportunities.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and demonstrations with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather insights and validate system designs.
• Collaborate closely with sales, design, architecture, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of requirements and technical feasibility.

Your professional qualities:

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in IT, preferably working on complex, technologically advanced projects.
• Deep understanding of requirement gathering and analysis methodologies (BABOK, Agile BA, Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong technical skills, including SQL, working with relational databases, and knowledge of APIs, RESTful, and SOAP protocols.
• Experience with modeling and analysis tools such as UML, BPMN, Visio, or similar diagramming software.
• Proven experience in creating detailed technical documentation (BRD, SRS, Use Cases, User Stories, Functional/Non-Functional specifications).
• Ability to develop system models, workflows, and process diagrams to support clear communication and understanding.
• Experience working with client workshops and analyzing user behaviors.
• Proficiency in English (B2+) for effective communication with international teams and stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Experience working in outsourcing or product companies focused on mobile development.
• Knowledge of project estimation principles, including breaking down work into functional blocks and MVP vs. full scope.
• Experience participating in tenders or preparing RFP responses.
