UNICEF is seeking a highly skilled Programme Manager to join its team in Kyiv. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the organization's mission of promoting the rights of every child.
Key Responsibilities- Establish the office's annual work plan and prioritize tasks to achieve results according to schedule and performance standards.
- Supervise team members by providing clear objectives, direction, and guidance to enable them to perform their duties responsibly and efficiently.
- Develop social protection policies, legislation, and programmes with attention to increasing coverage and impact on children.
- Improve data on child poverty and vulnerability for increased use in policy and programme action.
- Strengthen social protection coverage and impact for children.
- An advanced university degree in Economics, Public Policy, Social Sciences, International Relations, Political Science, or another relevant technical field.
- A minimum of eight years of relevant professional experience.
- Fluency in English.
- Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency situations is an asset.
