EVERLEGAL is expanding its Corporate and M&A practice and is looking for a mid-level associate to join our Kyiv office

Qualifications:

  • Degree in law from a reputable Ukrainian university
  • 2+ years of professional experience at one of the Top-10 Ukrainian law firms
  • Excellent command of English (including legal English) and Ukrainian is a MUST (please be realistic about your level of proficiency)
  • Excellent knowledge of civil and commercial law; previous experience in Corporate/M&A
  • Foreign LL.M. will be an advantage
  • Expertise in energy projects, including renewables, infrastructure and real estate is desirable but not mandatory (we will teach you nuts & bolts)
  • Strong knowledge of MS-Office, legal databases (Liga, etc.)

  • Able to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence to interact directly with clients

Responsibilities:

  • M&A advisory and transactional work (due diligence, structuring, negotiating and drafting transactional documents;)
  • Advising on various corporate (including post M&A), commercial, capital controls and regulatory matters
  • Participation in negotiations
  • Business development efforts will be appreciated (incentives in place)
