What you will be doing
- We're looking for a Business Development Lead who will play a pivotal role in the future of our company in Ukraine. Our Country Manager will be responsible for oversight and management of all company business operations in Ukraine including business development, sales, development operations, product launch, and support.
- The ideal candidate is a leader and will be empowered to build and grow a local team to enable accomplishment of business goals and ensure we provide world class products and customer support to our end-users.
- This role will be the face of our company's business in Ukraine and will be used as a model for expanding its international business. We believe that the UAS innovations occurring in Ukraine will largely shape the international market and the employment of UAS for the foreseeable future.
- This role will collaborate across the company's senior leadership team, core product teams, Ukrainian OEM's, and other company solution providers based on the needs of our Ukrainian customers. The right candidate will have demonstrated leadership experience and is interested in an entrepreneurial role in a rapidly-growing UAS technology company.
- Build relationships and communicate effectively with senior leaders within the Ukrainian Government, UAS manufacturers, and military end users to understand requirements and advocate for our products.
- Conduct routine site visits with our customers and end users in Ukraine to assess product adoption, the company product fit for end user requirements, gather feedback on system/feature improvements, and manage field maintenance or troubleshooting (with the help of support personnel).
- Develop business goals in collaboration with the company senior leadership and position the local country team to accomplish these goals.
- Establish an effective communication pipeline with the company engineering team to track, monitor, and resolve field-related issues and feature requests specific to Ukraine deployed products.
- Develop a product support plan including building out a team/staffing as needed.
- Forecast resource requirements and collaboratively source, build, and grow a local team of world class UAS developers, support personnel, product managers, and logistics professionals.
- Manage partnerships in a collaborative manner, including working through schedule updates, setting integration touch points, and conveying risks and potential mitigations to senior company leadership.
You should have the following
- 6+ years of experience in progressive leadership roles in a technology company, preferably in UAS.
- Demonstrated ability to creatively problem solve and think outside the box for solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and effectively communicate with senior leaders of business and government organizations.
- Ability to work with geographically dispersed team and operate independently based upon limited guidance to achieve desired results.
- Ability to identify talented teammates and grow the local Ukraine team based upon customer needs.
- Ability to quickly grow strong familiarity with new products and understand market trends.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and motivate teams.
- Written and spoken English and Ukrainian skills.
US Salary Range
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are considered part of Neros' total compensation package.
