This is a long-term Healthcare project involving SaaS application development and maintenance. The project focuses on creating a centralized workflow for processing appointments, invoicing payers and patients, managing documentation, and facilitating medical item deliveries. The software, designed for US-based home medical equipment providers (HME) and hospitals, streamlines daily operations and enhances efficiency.

Does this relate to you?
  • 5+ years in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and automation.
  • AWS expertise (EC2, S3, EKS, networking, scaling strategies).
  • Strong skills with Docker and Kubernetes (high-load environments).
  • Hands-on experience with EKS, Karpenter, KEDA, and autoscaling for cost optimization.
  • Solid knowledge of Helm, ArgoCD, or Flux for GitOps workflows.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD (GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions).
  • Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform (CloudFormation/Ansible a plus).
  • Strong background in Linux system administration.
  • Monitoring & logging with Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, or similar.
  • Familiarity with security best practices and compliance (HIPAA preferred).
  • Scripting/automation skills (Python, Bash, Go, or similar).
  • English – Upper-Intermediate or higher.
  • Timezone: Must be available to work within EST hours.
A new team member will be in charge of:
  • Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure for a microservices-based healthcare platform.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable deployments.
  • Implement container orchestration strategies using Docker & Kubernetes (EKS).
  • Manage autoscaling in high-traffic clusters using Karpenter, KEDA, or similar tools.
  • Configure GitOps workflows with ArgoCD or Flux.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for proactive issue detection.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and data protection in line with healthcare standards.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize deployment strategies.
  • Focus on cost-optimized scaling, security, and reliability.
  • Environment: High-load Kubernetes clusters with thousands of active customers.
