The role of the Senior Investment Officer is a pivotal one, tasked with spearheading the expansion of our infrastructure business in Ukraine. As the most senior representative of our Kyiv office, you will be responsible for developing and deepening relationships with both public and private sector entities.
To succeed in this position, you will need to possess exceptional business development skills, coupled with the ability to interact directly and independently with potential clients, financial partners, and government officials. Your genuine commitment to development and the World Bank Group's mission is essential.
We are seeking an individual with at least 10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure project investment and financing activities, with some prior experience in Ukraine. A Master's degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business, Finance, Economics, or other relevant field is also required.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with the Ukraine Infrastructure Lead to coordinate business development activities and develop a strong pipeline of investments.
- Lead pre-investment and advisory initiatives to create a pipeline of future investments by spotting emerging opportunities for private investment.
- Develop and deepen public and private sector relationships to support the overall expansion of IFC's footprint in Kyiv.
- Evaluate new business leads and structure potential new transactions, deploying IFC's full range of pre-investment and investment products.
