The Role of a Senior Investment Officer in Infrastructure Development

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Investment Officer to join our team in Kyiv, Ukraine. As the most senior representative of our infrastructure team in the country, you will be responsible for growing our in-country footprint and expanding our business in Ukraine.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate infrastructure business development activities in Ukraine, assessing business leads and anticipating market trends to develop a strong pipeline of investments.
  2. Lead pre-investment and advisory initiatives to create a pipeline of future investments by spotting emerging opportunities for private investment and converting them into bankable projects through technical assistance and project development phase equity.
  3. Work closely with the country manager and officers to develop and deepen public and private sector relationships, supporting the overall expansion of our footprint in Kyiv.
Key Requirements:
  • Mastery of Business, Finance, Economics, or relevant field with at least 10 years of experience in infrastructure project investment and financing activities, including some prior experience in Ukraine.
  • Ability to interact directly and independently with potential clients, financial and technical partners, as well as senior government officials.
  • Genuine commitment to development and to our mission, strategy, and values.
  • Strong business development and client relationship skills, demonstrated by a track record and ability to focus on clients' needs effectively.
