Oracle CPQ Tech Lead

We are seeking a highly qualified Oracle CPQ Tech Lead to design, develop, and implement Oracle CPQ solutions.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in Oracle CPQ configuration, customization, and integration and possess leadership and communication skills. As a Tech Lead, you will lead a development team, deliver high-quality solutions, and provide technical direction to project teams and stakeholders. Your role will be pivotal in shaping our CPQ strategy to align with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Oracle CPQ solutions, ensuring compliance with best practices and architectural standards
• Provide technical leadership to CPQ developers through code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Partner with business analysts, functional consultants, and stakeholders to analyze requirements and craft technical specifications
• Configure and customize Oracle CPQ to address business needs, including product setup, pricing rules, and approval workflows
• Develop and maintain integrations between Oracle CPQ and enterprise systems, such as Salesforce (CRM), Oracle EBS (ERP), and other tools
• Design and implement advanced CPQ solutions using BML (BigMachines Extensible Language), JavaScript, and relevant technologies
• Resolve complex technical challenges related to Oracle CPQ
• Oversee all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Ensure solution quality and performance through comprehensive testing practices
• Stay current with Oracle CPQ updates, features, and best practices
• Contribute to CPQ standards, guidelines, and best practices for the organization
• Address technical risks and escalate issues effectively when necessary
• Offer technical expertise during project estimation, planning, and delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
• Background in Oracle CPQ implementations with a strong understanding of its concepts, architecture, and functions (minimum 3 years)
• Leadership experience guiding development teams in past roles (minimum 1 year)
• Expertise in Oracle CPQ configuration
• Skills in BML and JavaScript programming
• Experience integrating Oracle CPQ with Salesforce and Oracle Fusion systems
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, XML, and XSLT
• Competency in working with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server)
• Effective problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities
• Ability to collaborate within teams and work independently
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile and Waterfall

Nice to have

• Certification in Oracle CPQ 2024 Implementation
• Credentials as a Salesforce Associate or Salesforce Certified Administrator
• Proficiency in Oracle CPQ Cloud
• Familiarity with additional Oracle Cloud applications (Sales Cloud, ERP Cloud)
• Skills in web services (SOAP, REST)
• Knowledge of single sign-on (SSO) and security protocols
• Experience with CPQ performance tuning and optimization
• Familiarity with Quote to Cash business processes
• Proficiency in CPQ implementations for industries such as manufacturing or telecommunications
• Skills in data migration and data management for CPQ
