CRH Ukraine ) is seeking a Tax Manager, who will be responsible for providing tax advice and support to Ukrainian companies on various tax matters (incl. local and international). The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in a tax advisory role, with a strong understanding of Ukrainian tax & currency control legislation as well as application of Double Tax Treaties.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Provision of tax advice and support to Ukrainian companies on varios local and international tax matters (incl. Ukrainian direct, indirect, personal income tax matters, application of double tax treaties, analysis of beneficial ownership status, advising on tax matters related to IP rights and permanent establishment issues).
  • Analysis and preparation of Ukrainian tax reporting for all types of taxes (incl. deferred tax reporting).
  • Analysis and application of Ukrainian currency control rules.
  • Tax planning structuring including different jurisdictions.
  • Analysis and application of transfer pricing rules.
  • M&A tax due-diligence/tax health checks aimed at identification of specific risks, adverse implications and provision of possible options to eliminate/mitigate them.
  • Participation in tax audits, preparation of tax objection notices (other procedural documents) to local tax authorities, assistance in representation of companies in tax disputes on various local and international tax matters
  • Tax & legal search of court practice and clarifications from tax authorities to build tax defensive positions for tax litigation purposes.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in law, taxation, finance, accounting or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge of international tax.
  • 2 years of experience in a tax manager role.
  • Good business English level is a must (oral and written).
  • Experience in Big 4 will be an advantage.
