Programme Manager

At UNICEF, we are committed to creating a world where every child thrives. As a Programme Manager - Social Policy Reform Specialist, you will play a critical role in shaping our social policy initiatives to address the most pressing challenges facing children and families.

• Leadership and Strategy: Establish a clear vision for the office's annual work plan, setting priorities and targets that drive meaningful impact.
• Advocacy and Partnerships: Foster partnerships with governments, civil society, and private sector organizations to advance social protection reforms and improve child outcomes.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze data on child poverty and vulnerability to inform evidence-based policy recommendations and programme interventions.
• Social Protection Coverage and Impact: Develop policies and programmes that strengthen social protection systems, increasing coverage and impact for vulnerable populations.
• Public Financial Management: Identify opportunities to improve domestic financing of child-sensitive social protection interventions, promoting transparency and accountability.
• Capacity Building and Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to partners, building their capacity to design and implement effective social protection programmes.

• Advanced Degree: A master's degree in economics, public policy, social sciences, international relations, or a related field is required.
• Professional Experience: At least eight years of relevant professional experience in social policy, advocacy, or programme management is necessary.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of other UN languages or Ukrainian is an asset.
