Qualifications:

5+ years of firmware development experience in IoT or edge computing;

Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field;

Expertise in embedded systems programming (C/C++ and Python);

Strong knowledge of Linux kernel, Docker, and container orchestration;

Experience with cloud-based video streaming (AWS KVS, etc.);

Basic CUDA knowledge and AI model integration;

Familiarity with wireless communication protocols;

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills;

English level: Upper Intermediate+ and higher;

Experience developing safety-critical systems will be a plus;

Background in video surveillance, IoT security, or embedded AI will be a plus;

Proven success collaborating with hardware manufacturers will be a plus;

End-to-end firmware development for NVIDIA-based edge computing systems will be a plus.

Technical Skills:

Embedded firmware development (NVIDIA Jetson, real-time operating systems);

GStreamer and NVIDIA Argus camera libraries;

Power management & network programming;

AI/ML model integration in firmware;

Video streaming & debugging tools;

Cross-platform firmware development & manufacturer collaboration.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain firmware for edge computing camera systems;

Implement firmware supporting advanced AI detection models for pool safety monitoring;

Optimize performance for real-time video processing and streaming;

Work with AI teams to integrate detection models into firmware;

Optimize computational resources and processing performance;

Develop firmware to handle variable environmental conditions (lighting, water clarity, obstructions);

Implement error handling, fault tolerance, and power management for:12V/5A camera systems AND 5V/1A sirens;

Ensure reliable Wi-Fi connectivity and signal management;

Partner with hardware manufacturers to ensure QA and rigorous testing;

Develop and maintain testing protocols for NVIDIA-based edge computing platforms;

Troubleshoot firmware-related manufacturing and performance issues;

Manage firmware release schedules, versioning, and documentation;

Coordinate releases with software and hardware teams;

Implement comprehensive testing and validation protocols;

Conduct performance testing and optimization for edge AI processing;

Implement secure video streaming and data transmission protocols;

Monitor and mitigate false positives/negatives in AI detection systems.
