Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer /Typescript) for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. Our client is a MedTech and digital health company with operations worldwide.

In this role, you will be responsible for building intuitive, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces using , TypeScript, and You will collaborate closely with product owners, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences across web platforms. It's an excellent opportunity for an engineer who is passionate about modern front-end development, values clean and maintainable code, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile environment—especially within regulated sectors such as healthcare and medical devices.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (minimum requirement).
• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
• Strong proficiency with
• Solid knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript ecosystem practices.
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn.
• Understanding of AWS services and how they support front-end applications (optional but preferred).
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to analyze complex systems, propose solutions, and deliver high-quality results.
• Minimum Upper Intermediate level of English (spoken and written).

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with UI/UX tools or design systems.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
• Knowledge of medical device or healthcare regulatory environments is a strong plus.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end features using , TypeScript, and
• Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless, user-centered experiences.
• Ensure application performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and scalability across devices and platforms.
• Implement best practices for clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable front-end code.
• Optimize, refactor, and troubleshoot existing code to enhance usability and performance.
• Leverage AWS services where applicable to support front-end development, CI/CD, and deployment workflows.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to planning, estimation, and iterative delivery.
• Contribute to technical documentation, including product and compliance documentation for regulated environments (healthcare/medical devices).
• Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve the product and team processes.
