What project we have for you

Become part of a dedicated and professional team that helps shape commercial mobility throughout Europe. A successful candidate will work on a web application UX revamp which consists of a dozen different transportation products under the single shell.

What you will do

• Actively participate in the customers product sprints, and contribute towards business goals;
• Leading the team of manual and automation test engineers;
• Build and adopt Testing Strategy for the teams and company;
• Hiring and mentoring new teammates;
• Quality assurance in agile and classic process models, from reviewing the requirements and test design to test planning and implementation
• Close coordination with the other development teams and inclusion of test integration requirements from them to ensure high quality;
• Taking part in and leading manual testing and automated tests implementation;
• Communicating with QA engineers of the external teams in order to gather and / or share information on test cases and best practices
• Advocacy of opinion in: "Why BDD is not a testing approach", "Record & Play tools it is not an automation tool"

What you need for this

• 5+ years of experience in manual testing (web apps, APIs)
• Automation skills using all the following programming languages: Java, JavaScript/Typescript
• Experience with test frameworks such as JUnit, REST Assured, Cypress
• Experience with test strategy and test plans creation
• Understanding APIs and knowing how to interpret/use them related to a REST API service, experience in working with tools for API testing (e.g., Postman, Insomnia)
• Experience in creating checklists or test cases according to the development requirements, maintaining them regularly updated
• Accuracy in reporting issues, all steps to reproduce an issue behavior
• Familiarity with Bug Tracking tools, preferably Jira
• Upper-intermediate (B2) level of English
• Well-developed communication and presentation skills

Nice to have skills:

• Good knowledge of Agile practices and experience in SCRUM teams
• Understanding of application flow/ business from an end-user perspective, a technical person (developer), and client point of view
• Skills in working with CI tools: preferably Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, etc.
• Experience in working with SQL DBs
• Experience in leading a test team and improving testing processes
• Experience in working closely with the development team when performing testing activities
• Any background related to fleet management or GIS applications
• ISTQB Advanced Test Manager certification

Higher Education:

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar
