We're looking for an SEO Specialist to join our marketing team and help us increase visibility, organic traffic, and marketing-qualified leads for our professional services (mainly AI, Generative AI & conversational solutions).

Your main focus will be on executing SEO activities that increase traffic to Master of Code Global's website and social media, with success measured by growth in MQLs. An important part of this role is keeping up with how AI reshapes search—from Google AI Overviews to LLM-driven visibility — and helping ensure our content is discoverable in these emerging channels. You'll independently manage daily SEO execution and contribute to strategy discussions, while also building skills that prepare you for long-term ownership. Over time, this role offers the chance to grow into strategy development, vendor management, and advanced technical SEO with mentorship and support.

What We Value in a New Master

• 3+ years of proven experience in SEO, ideally in a results-driven environment within IT services or SaaS targeting English-speaking markets.
• Experience contributing to SEO activities that supported measurable traffic growth and marketing-qualified lead (MQL) generation, ideally within IT services or consulting.
• Practical knowledge of key SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog to support optimization efforts.
• Good understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors, with practical skills in technical SEO basics, on-page optimization, and link building.
• Able to independently perform keyword research and competitor analysis, with growing experience in market trend analysis.
• Familiarity with interlinking best practices and the ability to structure content for optimal SEO performance.
• Experience implementing schema markup and structured data for SEO.
• Comfortably using website analytics tools to monitor performance, prepare reports, and highlight opportunities for improvement.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, industry developments, and algorithm updates.
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple SEO tasks and deadlines independently.
• Experience interpreting SEO data and preparing actionable reports; exposure to CRO is a plus.
• Curiosity and persistence in following AI and search trends (Google AI Overviews, LLM rankings, GEO-specific updates) with the ability to apply relevant insights in day-to-day SEO work.
• Clear communicator, able to explain SEO findings and recommendations in simple terms.
• Comfortable with technical SEO basics (HTML tags, CSS, site speed, structured data) and able to work with developers on fixes.
• Demonstrated experience supporting growth in organic traffic and keyword rankings, with some exposure to conversion optimization.
• Interest in gaining exposure to conversational & generative AI and other emerging technologies.
• Interest in Generative AI-based tools and experience applying them for work and home duties.
• English level - Upper-Intermediate or higher.

How You'll Contribute - Execute on-page and off-page SEO activities to improve organic search rankings and drive qualified traffic. - Continuously monitor AI-driven changes in search (Google AI Overviews, generative results, LLM integrations, GEO-specific features) and suggest ways to apply them in daily SEO execution. - Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging SEO techniques, and proactively implement necessary adjustments to stay ahead of the curve. - Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and track market trends. - Optimize website content, structure, landing pages, and blog posts for maximum visibility, relevance, and user experience. - Perform technical SEO checks (crawl errors, indexing issues, etc.) and provide clear recommendations. Drive implementation where necessary. - Implement internal linking strategies to improve site structure, crawlability, and user navigation. - Apply schema markup to enhance search visibility and support rich results. - Collaborate with content creators, link builders, designers, and developers to implement SEO best practices across digital assets. - Monitor SEO performance (organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversions) and prepare regular reports. - Support link-building activities by evaluating donor websites, planning anchors, and coordinating with external partners. - Work closely with the broader marketing team (social, content, paid) to align efforts and maximize impact. - Be ready to support the marketing department within other marketing streams, where needed.
