Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Data Analyst for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine and the EU. Our client is the airport television network that leverages various data and tech to enable targeting messaging, offer shopability, and allow viewers to continue watching TV content on their mobile devices.

Overlap till 21:00 UA/20:00 CET is required.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years' work experience as a Quantitative Analyst or comparable role.
• Degree in an analytical field with coursework in statistics (e.g., Math, Linguistics, Econ, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering).
• Strong competence in analyzing data and turning it into a communicable value proposition.
• Proven track record of an investigative mindset, getting to the core of hard data problems.
• A perfectionist for getting analyses correct; a pragmatist for getting things done on time.
• Problem-solving, analytical skills, and decision-making.
• Can approach problems in an innovative manner, exhibiting the aptitude to think quickly.
• Flexible, self-motivated, and proactive out-of-the-box and critical thinker.
• Minimum Upper intermediate level of English (spoken and written).

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

• Experience in core data science activities: extracting data from SQL data stores, exploratory data analysis, data visualization, and reporting
• Experience working with large datasets and expertise in SQL; ideally familiar with AWS,
• Python or R. Experience with geospatial analysis and spatial data is highly desirable.
• Solid foundational knowledge of descriptive and predictive statistics
• Proficient with Unix commands and regular expressions
• Experience with BI and data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, Looker, Adobe Analytics, etc.)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create rock-solid reports and clear, engaging data visualizations
• Develop a deep understanding of the data architecture, its related datasets, and the interactions between them.
• Collaborate across multi-functional teams.
• Automate frequent reporting requests to maximize efficiency.
