We are building a vessel detection and monitoring solution leveraging SAR data from different providers (e.g., ICEYE). Our Decision Support Solution ingests high-resolution SAR imagery, applies advanced classification and sensor-fusion algorithms, and delivers actionable insights to operators. The platform is implemented as a suite of containerized microservices — communicating via Kafka and REST APIs — and orchestrated on Kubernetes for seamless scalability and resilience.

Technology Stack:

  • Backend Framework: .NET
  • Database: PostgreSQL PostGIS
  • ORM: Entity Framework Core
  • Messaging & Streaming: Apache Kafka (with Protobuf)
  • APIs: REST over HTTPS, Webhooks
  • Monitoring & Observability: OpenTelemetry, centralized logging
  • Storage: Amazon S3
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
  • Frontend: React
  • CI/CD: GitHub Actions (or Azure DevOps)
Requirements
  • Team (~3-5 team members) technical leadership
  • Participation in requirements solicitation and management processes
  • Development and enhancement of system architecture
  • Technical solutions design, preparation of technical specifications and functional descriptions
  • Execution of code review and other engineering practices
  • Sprint planning, backlog reviews, and daily stand-up sessions
  • Close cooperation with the client team
  • Implementation of tasks related to back-end and front-end
  • Perform other related duties as required


Requirements
  • 7 years of experience in software development
  • At least 2 years of experience as TL role managing a team of at least 3-5 developersKnowledge of software product life-cycle, software architecture and design
  • Strong knowledge of OOP/OOA, software architecture design patterns
  • Strong knowledge of .NET, C#
  • Profound knowledge of relational DB, experience with non-relational DB
  • Solid understanding of message-driven architectures (Kafka, Protobuf)
  • Knowledge of Javascript, Typescript, hands-on experience with React JS
  • Ability to write high quality code following TDD practices
  • Strong experience in Applied Scrum framework
  • Upper-intermediate spoken and written English level
  • Perfect communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in the field of Computer Science or a closely related field
Would be a plus
  • Sea surveillance / maritime monitoring experience
