Lead Java Engineer

We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Java Developer to join our team and drive significant advancements to our Commerce Platform.

You will take ownership of key initiatives, including introducing PingID and collaborating on the redesign of critical functionalities to enhance platform performance and security.

Kindly note that this role supports remote work, but only from within Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of PingID token support across Marketplace microservices
• Guide the design of the CIAM Permission Model and ensure Marketplace services are aligned
• Oversee the replacement of current Commerce functionality in the Marketplace UI with CIAM-driven micro-front-ends
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to decouple CIAM-related functionalities in Notifications, Onboarding, and Registration services from Marketplace
• Provide architectural guidance for Java microservice infrastructure and align it with project objectives
• Mentor development team members and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Work closely with stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions
• Ensure timely delivery of new features and system improvements while maintaining mission-critical stability
• Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable code is pushed to production

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Java development, with a proven background in building enterprise-grade applications
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform and Java Microservice Infrastructure
• Understanding of CIAM-related systems such as PingID or similar technologies
• Competence in team leadership, project coordination, and solution delivery
• B2 English level for effective communication and collaboration

Nice to have

• Expertise in security methodologies related to CIAM and microservices
• Familiarity with integrating authentication protocols and secure APIs
• Background in designing or implementing robust permission models tailored for microservices
