International Corporate Lawyer
.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage changes in company structures, interact with state registries, oversee license updates, and prepare internal policies and website content.
  • Draft, review, and align contracts with clients and partners, identify and mitigate legal risks, and provide support throughout all stages of cooperation.
  • Handle bank account openings: search for banking/payment providers, organize calls, collect and submit required documents.
  • Monitor legislation in the EU, Canada, and the UAE; provide legal consultations and guidance to internal teams.
  • Select, coordinate, and manage relationships with external lawyers, accountants, and auditors.
  • Develop internal policies to ensure compliance with AML/KYC, Travel Rule, and FATF requirements.
  • Act as a point of contact for interaction with regulators.|

Requirements:

  • Law degree (international or corporate law specialization will be an advantage).
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate law, preferably in fintech, banking, or international business.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate structuring, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
  • Practical experience with international jurisdictions (EU, Canada, UAE preferred).
  • Understanding of AML/KYC regulations, FATF standards, and financial compliance.
  • Excellent skills in contract drafting, risk assessment, and negotiations.
  • Experience in cooperation with banks, payment providers, auditors, and regulators.
  • Proficient in English (both written and spoken); knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced international environment.
