We're looking for a curious, capable, and ambitious AI & NLP Engineer to join our growing team in Kiev. This is a foundational role. Your work will power visa recommendations, AI-led onboarding, and intelligent migration planning for globally mobile individuals and families. What you'll be doing

  • Own and orchestrate our end-to-end AI and NLP architecture - from data ingestion to inference and feedback loops
  • Build document intelligence pipelines: OCR, entity extraction, semantic classification, and multilingual parsing
  • Bring LLM-powered features to life including onboarding, smart Q&A, and form pre-fills
  • Fine-tune and deploy custom models like NER, intent classification, and eligibility scoring
  • Design prompt templates, tool-calling logic, and context strategies using LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or Haystack
  • Serve fast and scalable inference endpoints using FastAPI, and integrate them into our NestJS backend and React Native mobile app
  • Manage the full AI lifecycle: versioning, evaluation, feedback collection, and retraining
  • Collaborate closely with product, mobile, and backend teams to make AI features usable, scalable, and delightful
  • Champion responsible AI - privacy-first, geopolitically aware, and built with ethics in mind

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years of hands-on NLP and ML experience, including production-grade deployment
  • Strong Python skills with experience using libraries like spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers, and scikit-learn
  • Solid experience orchestrating LLMs and NLP pipelines with tools like LangChain and vector databases
  • Familiarity with deploying models using REST APIs, FastAPI, Docker, and cloud-native environments
  • Experience working with vector stores like Pinecone, Chroma, or Weaviate
  • Strong grasp of NLP fundamentals — including NER, parsing, text classification, summarization, and retrieval-augmented generation
  • A proven track record of shipping AI products from prototype to production
  • Great communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, and design
