As QA Manager for Ubisoft Connect, you will lead multiple test teams across development domains, ensuring the deliver of high-quality software. You will be responsible for aligning test strategies with business objectives, mentoring QA leaders, and driving consistent quality practices across teams. This role is pivotal in bridging development and the player experience, ensuring stability, functionality, and quality in every release.

Core Accountabilities

Leadership and Development  

• Lead, mentor, and support QA Team Leads, guide them in building and managing their respective teams. 
• Foster career growth, professional development, and accountability within the QA organization.
• Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing between QA teams to ensure alignment and avoid silos.
• Allocate QA personnel efficiently across domains, ensuring workload balance, and business coverage.
• Support succession planning, hiring, tooling needs, and skills development.

Quality Strategy and Alignment

• Align the Ubisoft Connect quality strategy with product, engineering, and business priorities.
• Ensure QA objectives and key results (OKR) are consistent across domains and contribute to product and operational excellence. 
• Drive a shared quality vision across domains and stakeholders.
• Ensure test strategies across teams are comprehensive, consistent, and aligned with risk   profiles.
• Facilitate quality considerations in the planning and development process.

Operational Excellence and Software Delivery

• Oversee QA sign-off processes, ensuring readiness and risk visibility at scale.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality practices, tools, automation, and metrics.
• Facilitate collaboration across test teams, product areas, and engineering functions.

Communication, Reporting, and Stakeholder Management

• Report quality trends, KPIs, team performance, and resource needs to senior leadership.
• Build trust and transparency with Engineering, Product, and Operations leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QA Lead or Manager in software development
• Strong understanding of the SDLC, agile methodologies, and QA processes
• Experience with test management tools, bug tracking, and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks. 
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels

Key Performance Indicators

• Release health and defect rates
• Test coverage and automation maturity
• Team performance and development metrics.
