Our client enables people, enterprises, and cities to harness the power of location. By interpreting the world through the lens of location, they empower customers to manage infrastructure, optimize assets, and ensure drivers reach their destinations safely.

What project we have for you

You'll join a diverse, passionate team of experts dedicated to solving complex logistics challenges. Our team features senior leaders in engineering, architecture, and product management, all committed to delivering innovative solutions that enhance the delivery experience.

Work on hour innovative solution designed to improve delivery accuracy by guiding commercial drivers directly to the correct building, apartment, or suite entrance.

The project involves:

  • Client SDK (Android): To collect probe data during deliveries.
  • Backend Services: To process data and, using machine learning algorithms, generate recommended parking locations and walking routes.
  • API Layer: To deliver these recommendations directly to drivers.

What you will do

  • Design and develop scalable backend APIs to process driver probe data and generate navigation recommendations.
  • Build and maintain frontend components interfacing with backend services.
  • Integrate geospatial data and mapping insights into the solution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure cohesive integration.
  • Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.

What you need for this

As a Back-end Developer on the project, you'll design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions across both backend and frontend systems. Your work will integrate geospatial data, robust APIs, and AWS cloud services to deliver actionable recommendations to drivers.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in backend and frontend development.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for server-side development.
  • Experience building backend APIs following OpenAPI standards.
  • Strong expertise with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitLab) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Upper-intermediate English (B2+)

Nice to have:

  • DevOps experience with AWS cloud platform
  • Familiarity with C++ and Python.
  • Background in data science and machine learning.
