Business Controller

Contract type: full-time | Location: Kyiv, Ukraine | Working model: hybrid

We're looking for a Business Controller who will own key financial operations, support accurate reporting, and help drive informed decision-making. You'll manage monthly closings, ensure IFRS alignment, work closely with internal teams, and provide analysis that keeps our numbers transparent and reliable. This role is ideal for someone who loves structure, detail, and connecting finance with the bigger picture.

What you'll do

• Lead accurate monthly and quarterly closings, including BS and P&L reconciliations across NAV and 1C.
• Ensure IFRS-compliant posting, accruals, reclassifications, reserves, and revenue recognition.
• Analyse performance (services, marketplace, OPEX, IC transactions, incentives) and explain variances against budget and forecast.
• Prepare and maintain financial schedules, reports, statements, and NAV updates needed for closing, audits, and internal controls.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Treasury, and external auditors on budgeting, compliance, contract reviews, and operational decisions.
• Coordinate banking and treasury processes, payables, receivables, FX, guarantees, and cash placement to support liquidity and compliance.

• Strong background in controlling or accounting, with hands-on experience in IFRS, reconciliations, closing processes, and financial analysis.
• Confidence working with NAV, 1C, Excel, BI tools, and modern finance systems.
• Ability to manage complex data with accuracy, structure, and independence.
• Clear communicator who can translate financial details into actionable insights.
• Comfortable collaborating across departments and maintaining high standards of compliance.
• A degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a similar field.
