We are looking for an experienced
Full Stack Developer (Backend-Focused)
. You will own the backend, such as services, APIs, and data layers, that power our web and mobile products. You will shape the backend architecture, performance, and security, while also collaborating with our web and mobile engineers to integrate features and ensure smooth end-to-end delivery.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in backend development but enjoys working across the stack to deliver complete solutions.

Responsibilities

Backend (Primary Focus):

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and databases.
  • Implement and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases for efficient storage and retrieval.
  • Ensure high availability, security, and performance of backend systems.
  • Build RESTful and GraphQL APIs and integrate with third-party services.
  • Deploy and manage backend services on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) using Docker/Kubernetes.

Frontend (Supporting Responsibilities):

  • Collaborate with UI/UX and frontend devs to implement features in web and mobile.
  • Contribute to frontend development using
    JavaScript frameworks
    (Angular).
  • Integrate frontend interfaces with backend APIs for seamless user experiences.
  • Optimize frontend performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.

Cross-Functional:

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack.
  • Implement security best practices (authentication, authorization, data protection).
  • Set up logging, monitoring, and automation for system reliability.
  • Work with product managers and DevOps teams to design robust, scalable architectures.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

  • Experience
    : 3+ years of professional software development experience, ideally in a full stack role with strong backend expertise.
  • Backend Languages
    : Proficiency in
    Python
    (Django, Flask, or FastAPI). Angular experience is a plus.
  • Frontend Languages & Frameworks
    : Proficiency in
    JavaScript/TypeScript
    with modern frameworks such as
    Angular or React
  • Databases
    : Strong knowledge of
    SQL
    (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and
    NoSQL
    (MongoDB, Redis).
  • APIs
    : Expertise in building and integrating
    RESTful
    and
    GraphQL APIs
    .
  • Cloud & DevOps
    : Familiarity with
    AWS, GCP, or Azure
    , containerization (
    Docker
    ) and orchestration (
    Kubernetes
    ).
  • UI/UX Collaboration
    : Ability to translate wireframes and design concepts into functional, responsive interfaces.
  • Security & Authentication
    : Experience with
    OAuth2, JWT
    , and secure coding practices across frontend and backend.
  • Problem-Solving
    : Strong debugging and optimization skills across the stack.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    : Effective in remote/hybrid environments; able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
