RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIREMENTS

We are seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer with proven hands-on experience in Atlassian Services. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving, standardizing, and scaling reporting for the engineering teams to improve and stardadaze the reporting using Atlassian products (Analytics and Atlassian Data Lake).

This role involves auditing, testing, and fixing existing dashboards and reports, resolving technical and data issues, and developing new Initiative-level metrics and visualizations. The ideal candidate will be both technically skilled and detail-oriented, able to partner directly with stakeholders and Atlassian support to deliver reliable, actionable insights.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in Atlassian Analytics dashboards
  • Partner with Atlassian team to address platform-side bugs and limitations
  • Audit and improve queries, charts, and metrics for diferent type of reporting and solutions.
  • Extend dashboards to support normalized Jira projects across solutions
  • Build an a new Dashboards integrating company wide initiatives and visualising project data

  • Develop an email/subscription solution to automate report delivery

  • Direct experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker etc)

  • Strong SQL skills (writing, optimizing, and debugging complex queries)
  • Experience with data modeling and creating scalable reporting structures
  • Solid knowledge of data analysis techniques
  • Proven ability to audit, test, and improve BI dashboards
  • Experience working with Jira and Confluence data
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and work independently
  • Comfortable working with US PST time zone overlap

Nice to have:

  • Prior collaboration with Atlassian technical support teams
  • Experience with automation of reporting processes (e.g., email subscriptions)
