Our team directly supports top-tier experts in the real estate domain through impactful technical solutions.

• Experienced Python software engineer or data engineer with 2+ years of experience
• Skilled in Python 3.x for scripting and data manipulation
• Proficient in working with JSON data and SQL databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Familiar with ETL concepts and tools, including SQLAlchemy, pandas, or direct SQL queries
• Comfortable using Git and running scripts in cloud environments
• Knowledgeable in basic API usage, including requests and httpx, as well as Docker and simple cloud VM setup
• Aware of data validation techniques, such as counts and referential checks
• Organized in coding style and confident working independently
• Practical-minded and focused on delivering results with minimal overhead
• Confident in maintaining daily communication with English-speaking software engineers on the client side at an intermediate English level
• Familiar with CMS platforms and content object models (would be a plus)
• Knowledgeable in Brightspot or similar CMS exports (would be a plus)
• Experienced in building data loaders using REST or GraphQL APIs (would be a plus)
• Familiar with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect, and simple job scheduling (would be a plus)
• Skilled in using containers such as Docker and setting up basic cloud instances for running jobs (would be a plus)
• Aware of performance tuning techniques for bulk data loads, including COPY in Postgres and batching (would be a plus)

• Analyze Brightspot object/JSON structures and existing relations in MySQL
• Propose a mapping to the new CMS schema
• Connect to and read data from the MySQL snapshot.
• Parse and transform JSON blobs into the new simplified schema
• Load data into Postgres via SQL or basic API endpoints
• Handle basic relationships between objects (parent/child, references)
• Run validation checks (record counts, sample comparisons)
• Log progress and errors for traceability
• Document the process and provide a simple run book
• Foster clear communication and productive collaboration with backend/CMS engineers and stakeholders throughout the migration process
