D3 VC is Europe's leading early-stage defense tech investor with 17 portfolio companies.

The scope of our work keeps increasing. We are looking for a person who expands our operational bandwidth and will pushes us to execute on our commitments.

We're seeking a dynamic and well-organized Operations Manager to serve as the operational backbone of our VC fund. This role combines hands-on execution with managing our team and our service providers horizontally, ensuring our internal processes run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage our task pipeline
    . Maintain our task management systems across operations, portfolio management, and deal flow. Track our commitments and push us to complete tasks.
  • Works hands-on on our admin back-end
    . We have tasks in various fields (e.g. general admin, events, marketing, finance and more) that have to be completed. Monitor adherence to our internal legal, compliance, and security policies
  • Manage service providers
    . We have external projects for legal, audits, design etc.
  • Keep us organized
    . Organize and maintain written records of our work, including meeting notes, updates, and documentation; post regular updates and communications to internal Slack channels.
  • Support our investor relations
    . Collect and organize materials for regular reporting to our strategic and institutional investors.
  • Elevate our community
    . Organize occasional get-togethers with our portfolio companies and wider network.

What we are looking for

  • Proven track record in operations, project management, or execution-focused roles (2+ years)
  • Hands-on executor who doesn't shy away from any task, big or small
  • Proactive and independent work style, comfortable being in a horizontal team
  • Comfortable being the "pusher" who ensures things get done
  • Strong English (written and verbal)
  • Must be based in Kyiv, Ukraine
