Trainee / Junior Generative AI Engineer

We are seeking a Trainee / Junior Generative AI Engineer to join our AI team and learn how to build and deploy Generative AI solutions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about AI who wants to gain hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI-powered applications. You will work under the guidance of experienced engineers and receive structured mentorship.

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of Python and libraries like NumPy, Pandas.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and interest in Generative AI.
  • Understanding of APIs and basic cloud concepts (Azure, AWS, or GCP is a plus).
  • Strong willingness to learn new tools and frameworks (LangChain, Hugging Face, etc.).
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.
  • English — Upper-Intermediate

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Exposure to LLMs, embeddings, or vector search.
  • Familiarity with Git and version control basics.
  • Understanding of Responsible AI principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn and assist in developing Generative AI applications using LLMs and related frameworks.
  • Support prompt engineering and basic model fine-tuning tasks.
  • Help implement RAG pipelines using vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate).
  • Assist in data preparation and preprocessing for AI models.
  • Write and maintain basic Python scripts for AI workflows.
  • Participate in model testing and evaluation under supervision.
  • Stay updated on AI trends and tools as part of continuous learning.
