We invite an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong GCP cloud skills to join our team. In this role, you'll contribute to a project transforming payment management across the European automotive industry. You'll help migrate client systems from multiple clouds into a unified GCP environment and provide long-term post-migration support to keep the client's digital payments platform stable, reliable, and efficient.

Is that you?

  • 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Hands-on experience deploying and managing resources in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience working with Kubernetes in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
  • Knowledge of GCP networking, including GCP VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, and IAM
  • Experience with Terraform for cloud infrastructure, including modules and state management
  • Knowledge of core Kubernetes concepts (Deployments, Services, Ingress, etc.)
  • Understanding of microservices architecture, deployment, and operational best practices
  • Strong English communication skills and ability to work effectively under tight deadlines

Desirable:

  • Hands-on experience with ArgoCD
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with Cloudflare for DNS, WAF, or CDN services

Key responsibilities and your contribution

In this role, you'll apply your GCP expertise to maintain and enhance our cloud-based systems while supporting the migration to a unified GCP environment.

  • Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure and services on GCP
  • Prepare GCP environments for migration from multiple clouds
  • Operate Kubernetes clusters on GKE and support microservices deployments
  • Design and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery
  • Provide long-term post-migration support to ensure platform stability and reliability
  • Support scalable and secure microservices architectures
  • Collaborate with the team and stakeholders to ensure smooth migrations and deployments
  • Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to ongoing infrastructure improvements
  • Follow best practices for cloud networking and security
