Project Coordinator

Medair International is seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to lead and manage the implementation of field projects in Northern Ukraine.

Role Overview

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing project delivery, ensuring objectives are met, and developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience working with NGOs and authorities, as well as strong report and proposal writing skills.

About Medair International

Medair operates a multi-sectoral response in Northern Ukraine, providing aid to vulnerable populations in de-occupied and conflict-affected areas. The Project Coordinator will work closely with local staff, people we serve, and external contacts to achieve project objectives effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project identification and design, conducting research and making recommendations for interventions.
• Oversee project implementation, ensuring objectives, timelines, and budgets are met.
• Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships, representing Medair in meetings and networks.
• Collaborate with team members to assess security risks, update protocols, and train staff on security measures.
• Plan, construct, and manage project budgets in coordination with Project Managers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant subject such as Management/Development Studies/Business Administration.
• Strong working knowledge of English (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of Humanitarian Essentials, Sphere and HAP Standards and other humanitarian guidelines and protocols.
• Experience with report and proposal writing. Experience with the OCHA clusters system.
• Overseas work experience with a relief and recovery NGO. Experience with Security Management.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum
