We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Junior Project Manager. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth project execution, optimal internal processes, and effective stakeholder communication.
Your primary responsibilities will include managing the delivery flow, from planning and task prioritization to backlog grooming and reporting. You will work closely with your mentor and team lead to develop new features, tests, and internal tools. In your first month, your key goal will be to understand how we manage backlog, priorities, and delivery metrics, and help improve the team's planning efficiency.
Key aspects of this role include:
- Assisting in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities and deliverables.
- Supporting Product Managers in day-to-day project execution and reporting.
- Communicating with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and clear expectations.
- Helping manage project tasks, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Participating in regular status meetings, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives.
- Monitoring project risks and issues, and escalating as needed.
- Coordinating communication across departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Contributing to continuous improvement by gathering feedback and supporting process updates.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- 1+ year of experience in delivery/project coordination or junior product roles.
- Basic understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and lifecycle (Agile/Scrum/Waterfall is a plus).
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, Confluence, Notion, MS Project).
- Ability to create and maintain basic project documentation (task lists, status reports, meeting notes, etc.).
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of software development or tech product lifecycle (a plus, especially for IT roles).
