is a pan-European commodity trading company within the DTEK Group that combines a client-oriented business approach with cutting-edge technology.

We operate in 21 European countries with four strategically located hubs in Amsterdam, Zug, Zagreb and Kyiv. Our main portfolio products include electricity, with a particular focus on renewable energy sources (RES), natural gas, and fuels.

We are looking for a
Chief Legal Counsel

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting supply/sale and purchase agreements for electricity, natural gas, petroleum products and grain crops for Ukrainian market and abroad.
  • Structuring transactions across various jurisdictions (including the EU), ensuring compliance with relevant legal frameworks
  • Drafting agreements for banking and trade financing, including loan agreements, surety agreements, guarantee agreements, security agreements, assignment agreements and termination agreements
  • Analyzing inquiries from tax authorities and preparing comprehensive responses to ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations

Requirements:

  • Strong contract management skills and an analytical approach to legal issues
  • Knowledge of Ukrainian legislation in the energy sector
  • Familiarity with EU energy law and standardized framework agreements (EFET/ISDA) will be considered an advantage
  • A valid attorney's license is an advantage
  • Advanced level in written and spoken English is mandatory
  • Results-oriented mindset, responsibility, stress resilience, ability to work in a team, and creativity
