Backend Training Manager

Requirements

— Higher education in IT/Computer Science. 5+ years of backend development experience, including mentoring or training junior developers.

— Strong knowledge of backend technologies: proficiency in one or more programming languages (PHP, Golang) and related frameworks.

— Hands-on experience with both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Elastic, Redis) databases, including data modeling, data caching approaches and query optimization.

— Solid understanding of web application architecture (monolithic and microservices). Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), and cloud services (AWS, GCP).

— Experience in curriculum development: creating courses from scratch or conducting technical training. Prior teaching in IT schools or corporate training centers is a plus.

— Excellent communication skills, ability to explain complex concepts clearly, and manage student groups. Passion for teaching and mentoring, with a focus on student results.

— Proactive, adaptable, and effective in distributed (remote) teams.

Responsibilities

— Develop a backend curriculum from scratch (topics, modules, schedule) aligned with business needs and modern tech stack; coordinate with CTO and tech leads.

— Prepare teaching materials (presentations, notes, practical tasks) and deliver lectures and workshops for BenchAcademy students.

— Manage the first student group (~10–15 people): track progress, provide feedback, maintain motivation, and adjust teaching methods when needed.

— Organize practical projects based on real company cases (e.g., crypto exchange components like fiat gateway, crypto gateway, high-load APIs).

— Set up training infrastructure with the engineering team (repos, deployment environments, CI/CD, monitoring) for hands-on development practice.Would be a plus— Knowledge of fintech/crypto
