Who we are looking for
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist with a strong background in Power BI development and hands-on experience in building reports, dashboards, and data models. The ideal candidate has:
- 2–4 years of practical experience with Power BI.
- Proven skills in DAX and Power Query (M).
- Solid knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL or similar) and ability to write and optimize SQL queries.
- Good understanding of data modeling (star schema, snowflake, fact/dimension tables).
- Experience in designing interactive dashboards tailored to business needs and knowledge of KPIs and data visualization best practices.
- Familiarity with ETL concepts and data integration tools (SSIS, Azure Data Factory or similar).
- Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Clear communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
- English level: Upper Intermediate (comfortable in discussing requirements with business stakeholders).
Nice to have:
- Experience with Power BI Service administration and governance.
- Exposure to Python or R for advanced analytics.
- Experience working in Agile methodology.
Your future role
In this role, you will:
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
- Build and optimize data models and implement efficient data transformations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Work with SQL databases, write queries, and ensure data quality and consistency.
- Apply BI best practices to improve data visualization, KPI tracking, and reporting.
- Participate in ETL and data integration processes, ensuring smooth data flows from multiple sources.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of BI processes and support innovation with new technologies
