Billing Coordinator

AVELLUM, a leading Ukrainian law firm, is looking for a Billing Coordinator

• 1-2 years experience in the legal sphere
• Fluent in English and Ukrainian
• Confident PC user
• Experience with legal billing system
• Able to learn quickly and apply new knowledge
• Customer service oriented
• Responsible and accurate, attentive to details
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• Hardworking and able to sustain busy work pressure

• Preparation of standard and tailored engagement documents (agreements, assignment letters, amendment agreements, supplement agreements, etc.) for new and current clients
• Generation of standard and tailored client time reports (as amended by the legal team), invoices, and supporting documents
• Liaison with clients regarding outstanding payments, exchange of documents, resolution of upcoming issues
• Drafting standard audit responses regarding client matters, liaison with the legal team and auditors
• Maintenance of the Billing System: entering various new data, opening and maintaining client accounts and projects, maintaining the engagement documents registry, invoices and costs registry, reflecting amendments to certain client reports, etc.
• Assistance to the accounting department with currency control documents and obtaining original finance documents from the clients
• Continuous monitoring of the time-billing progress of the legal team to make sure everything is up-to-date
• Preparation of different reports on projects, outstanding invoices, collections, billable hours, etc.
• Assistance with the preparation of proposal materials, tender documents, and credentials for joint proposals with other law firms
