Experience
Your Background & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field;
• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience;
• Excellent command of English language and Ukrainian is required;
• Background in media sphere will be a strong advantage;
• Previous experience with a multilateral or international organization is helpful but not mandatory;
• Familiarity with political, economic, and social issues in Ukraine.

Skills

• Proficiency in content creation and management for digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email campaigns;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences;
• Proven expertise in developing and executing effective social media strategies;
• Strong knowledge of the following programs is required: Meta Business Suite, Canva, Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator (etc), Final Cut Pro (etc), Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, MailChimp, Google Trends.
• Proficiency across diverse social media platforms for engagement, content promotion, and brand enhancement;
• Analytical acumen to optimize strategies and content using social media insights;
• Skillful creation of engaging visual content, encompassing graphics, videos, and multimedia elements;
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills;
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities;
• Proactiveness;
• Good storytelling skills;
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications;
• Must be skilled at handling multiple tasks and able to adhere to tight deadlines;
• Ability to work independently to achieve tasks, as well as collaboratively within a team.

Must demonstrate valid proof of unrestricted work authorization in Ukraine.

Your Daily Tasks

• Coordinates communication activities across programs
• Makes recommendations of specific steps and cost of improving programs visibility and disseminating results, outcomes, and impact
• In close cooperation with Communication Specialist, develop and execute comprehensive content plan that align with the IREX goals and objectives through crafting tailored messages for different target audiences;
• Track trends and contribute to the overall communication strategy
• Work closely with program teams to gather information, success stories, and data that can be leveraged for communication efforts;
• Create engaging and informative content, including articles, success stories, press releases, social media posts, newsletters, and multimedia materials (videos, graphics, etc.) to highlight program results, programmatic updates, and relevant resources for social media across three programs;
• Create visually appealing content including images, text, and short videos in accordance with the program content plan.
• Regularly update and manage the program's social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) to foster engagement, share programmatic updates, and amplify results.
• Coordinates content updates on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn pages. Moderate comments and direct messages;
• Video Production and Distribution: create short-form videos, distribute videos across social media platforms, including Facebook, YouTube;
• Organize live streams from events (as needed);
• Performance Analysis: monitor key metrics (reach, engagement, clicks, conversions);
• Prepare monthly/weekly performance reports;
• Optimize content based on analytics insights;
• Advertising Management: set up targeted advertising campaigns;
• Test audiences and creatives;
• Monitor and manage advertising budgets;
• Track current formats and trending topics;
• Coordinate with external contractors on development of complex communication materials and campaigns;
• Participate in the development of the overall IREX communication strategy
• Assists with identifying new partnerships with media and communication actors
• Reviews invoices, verifies service delivery and quality

Performs additional duties and tasks to meet the needs of the organization, team, or as assigned by manager.
