Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the establishment and growth of our new operations in Ukraine. The successful candidate will be responsible for building the company from the ground up — driving commercial performance, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining the highest standards of compliance, integrity, and customer satisfaction

Responsibilities
:

  1. Company Leadership & Development:

  2. Establish and lead the Ukrainian subsidiary, overseeing all business, operational, and administrative functions.

  3. Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow the company's market presence and profitability in line with group objectives.

  4. Recruit, manage, and develop a high-performing local team.

  5. Commercial & Customer Management:

  6. Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with key clients, partners, and suppliers.

  7. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction machinery rental market.
  8. Prepare, negotiate, and finalize rental agreements aligned with company policies and financial targets.
  9. Market Analysis & Asset Strategy:
  10. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to guide investment and fleet expansion decisions.

  11. Recommend acquisition of new machinery and equipment based on market demand and ROI analysis.

  12. Operations & Compliance:

  13. Ensure full compliance with local laws, health and safety regulations, and company standards.

  14. Oversee financial management, reporting, and adherence to corporate governance practices.
  15. Guarantee that all operations are conducted legally, transparently, and in accordance with internal policies.

4- Feedback & Continuous Improvement:

  • Provide structured feedback to support product development, fleet optimization, and service improvements across the region.

Education
:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.

Experience
:

  • Experience as a General Manager or in a similar role within the construction, mining or gas and oil industry.
  • Experience in the construction machinery rental sector is a strong advantage.
  • Experience in construction equipment rental, heavy machinery, or industrial services.
  • Deep understanding of business environment and legal aspects of conducting rental business.
  • Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proactive approach and result-oriented mindset.
  • Fluency in Ukrainian and English (B2+).
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel.
