Automotive Software Product Development Lead

Job Title: Automotive Embedded Software Project Manager

This role involves leading the development of cutting-edge automotive embedded software that powers tomorrow's vehicles. As a Project Manager, you will guide cross-functional teams from multiple locations, guiding projects from concept to launch.

You will lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across various locations to deliver complex automotive embedded microcontroller software products. From feasibility to launch, you will own the project lifecycle-planning, organizing, and controlling all phases to ensure time, cost, and quality targets are met while supporting business goals.

• Plan, organize, and control the project, being responsible for operational decisions to ensure successful achievement of project targets
• Be the point of contact for all questions related to the project and lead the project team in a matrix organization
• Manage a multidisciplinary team operating across various locations and assign responsibilities to project managers or team members
• Manage projects with significant complexity and risk, with broad impact on the business unit or company, using analytical thought
• Be responsible for software product development of automotive embedded microcontroller products, from feasibility to launch
• Manage the requirements, changes, and risks of the projects, while ensuring the achievement of time, cost, and quality
• Support the fulfillment of organizational goals towards profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction

• 14-17 years of overall experience
• 5-8 years of experience in software development and testing
• 4-6 years of experience in project management
• Experience in leading teams across locations
• Knowledge of ASPICE, functional safety (ISO 26262), and cybersecurity (ISO 21434) is recommended
