Infrastructure Investment Opportunities in Emerging Markets

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled Senior Investment Officer to join our dynamic team in Kyiv, Ukraine. As the most senior representative of our infrastructure business in the country, you will play a key role in growing our footprint and expanding our business in Ukraine.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile infrastructure projects, leveraging your expertise in investment and financing activities. You will be responsible for coordinating business development activities, assessing market trends, and employing deep sector/country/market knowledge to develop a strong pipeline of investments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead pre-investment and advisory initiatives to create a pipeline of future investments for IFC
- Work closely with the Ukraine Infrastructure Lead to coordinate infrastructure business development activities in Ukraine
- Develop and deepen public and private sector relationships, including government officials, local businesses, and international partners
- Evaluate new business leads, structure potential new transactions, and deploy IFC's full range of pre-investment and investment products

**Requirements:**
- Master's degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business, Finance, Economics, or other relevant field
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure project investment and financing activities, with some prior experience in Ukraine
- Strong business development and client relationship skills, with a proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, structuring, and closing investments in infrastructure sectors
- Excellent understanding of local context and market dynamics in Ukraine, as well as regional knowledge of countries and infrastructure challenges faced by countries within the broader region
