About the Role

Our client, a cutting-edge B2C product startup in Silicon Valley, is seeking a Mobile Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mobile testing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Mobile Development team and stakeholders to ensure smooth product launches
  • Work with the Customer Service Support team to troubleshoot user issues
  • Verify task requirements, review and execute test cases, and perform pre-release and post-release activities
  • Bug reporting, verification of fixes, and further monitoring

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in testing mobile applications for Android and iOS
  • Practical experience in automation testing with Java
  • Experience with IDEs for mobile development, such as Android Studio or XCode
  • Experience with bug-tracking systems, writing test documentation, and design techniques
  • Understanding of CI/CD process and tools, Virtual Machines, and GitHub
  • Knowledge of SQL, UX/UI principles, and SDLC
  • Experience with Jira, TestRail, and analytics tools like Firebase and Google Analytics
