Client: Our client is a leading asset management firm that also operates as a technology provider. They manage significant assets under management (AUM) while simultaneously developing and commercializing proprietary technology solutions tailored for the financial services industry.

Project overview: Design and implement a robust QA automation framework, create comprehensive automated UI test coverage and Develop and execute automated test suites for APIs. Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC

Position overview: Seeking a Test Automation Engineer skilled in TestComplete to develop and maintain automated tests for critical banking workflows. The role involves collaborating with teams, executing tests, reporting defects, and supporting CI/CD pipelines to ensure quality and efficiency. Strong QA knowledge and communication skills are essential.

  • Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and functional test scripts using TestComplete
  • Collaborate with QA, development, and business teams to define testing scope and acceptance criteria
  • Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects in a timely manner
  • Maintain and optimize the test automation framework to support regression and integration testing
  • Ensure full test coverage of critical banking workflows (e.g., payments, transactions, reporting)

  • Contribute to continuous integration and continuous testing pipelines

  • Requirements: Proven experience in test automation with TestComplete (UI and API testing)

  • Strong knowledge of scripting languages used in TestComplete (JavaScript, Python, VBScript, or DelphiScript)
  • Experience testing enterprise-scale applications, preferably in banking or financial services
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and SDLC/STLC processes
  • Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
