We are looking for a Senior PHP Yii Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong PHP expertise and be comfortable working with projects built on the Yii framework, including legacy code (Yii 1.1).

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 8+ years of professional experience in software development.
  • Strong expertise in PHP development (PHP 8.2, MVC).
  • Willingness to work with Yii v1.1 and the ability to quickly adapt to legacy code.
  • Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and web development best practices.
  • Proficiency with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server).
  • Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Skilled in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus.
  • English proficiency sufficient for clear communication (upper-intermediate preferred).
  • Ability to understand issues, research solutions, and complete tasks independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications with a focus on scalability, stability, and modular design.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and implement new features.
  • Troubleshoot issues, resolve bugs, and optimize performance.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices to enhance efficiency.
