Lead Business Analyst

We're looking for a Lead Business Analyst with strong Scrum Master and product vision leadership abilities to lead the requirements and delivery process for a real-estate insurance platform. The BA will shape and communicate the product vision, translate complex business rules into clear functional specifications, and ensure transparent, auditable outcomes that align with stakeholder goals.

The Lead BA will operate in a fast, experiment-to-scale environment, collaborating closely with product managers, actuaries/SMEs, UX/UI designers, data specialists, and full-stack engineers. This role will bridge business strategy and technical execution - refining insurance calculation logic, validating end-to-end flows, and ensuring the platform meets evolving client, user, and regulatory needs. In parallel, the BA will serve as Scrum Master, fostering Agile discipline, facilitating ceremonies, and driving a culture of continuous improvement.

What you'll do
Business Analysis & Product Vision

• Communicating with stakeholders to elicit and define high-level requirements.

• Translating high-level client requirements into actionable tasks for developers.

• Gaining domain knowledge and sharing it with the team.

• Assisting the design team by clarifying requirements and user experience needs.

• Asking the right questions during client sessions to uncover hidden assumptions, edge cases, and value drivers.

• Facilitating decision-making and a shared understanding of the requirements between the client and the development team.

• Supporting the Product Manager on client side in refining product vision, prioritizing features, managing roadmaps, and ensuring a customer-centric delivery focus.

Documentation & Requirements Management

• Creating and maintaining BA documentation (Vision & Scope, SRS, User Stories, Use Cases, UML, process flows, etc.).

• Managing requirements and traceability in Jira/Azure DevOps and Confluence.

• Executing impact mapping, change-request management, and backlog refinement activities.

Scrum Master & Agile Leadership

• Playing the role of Scrum Master for the delivery team.

• Planning and facilitating core Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).

• Removing team impediments and driving continuous improvement.

• Coaching the team on Agile best practices and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles.

• Helping the PM manage timelines, milestones, and sprint commitments.

• Promoting transparency, accountability, and sustainable delivery velocity.

What you bring

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; ability to maintain positive and professional relationships with stakeholders.

• Hands-on experience gathering requirements and converting them into clear tasks and BA artifacts.

• Strong facilitation skills: meeting organization, documentation, and follow-up.

• Experience executing impact mapping and managing requirement changes.

• Proven ability to work independently while remaining highly collaborative.

• Proactive mindset for identifying and resolving risks or blockers.

• Experience using Jira/Confluence.

• Experience acting as a Scrum Master or leading Agile ceremonies.

• Demonstrated ability to support or shape product vision and roadmap decisions.

• Motivated and passionate about product excellence, growth, and customer value.

• English level C1+.

• Insurance or InsurTech domain expertise is a major plus.
