DTEK's International Communications engages with audiences around the world to increase understanding of the company's work powering life in Ukraine and beyond.

We are looking for a
Video Content Creator
to join our International Communications team, based in DTEK's Kyiv headquarters but working directly with English-speaking colleagues outside Ukraine. The role is a perfect fit for a creative professional, who has corporate experience, first-class video production skills, strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude.

You would be liaising closely with stakeholders in London and Amsterdam, as well as Ukraine, so
excellent English language skills are essential
.

What you will be doing

As a video
content designer
at DTEK, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the brand's visual identity and creative output across multiple platforms. This dynamic position involves managing a variety of design-related projects and developing creative and impactful content that aligns with the company's messaging and communications goals.

We are looking for a creative and technically strong Video Content Creator who knows how to turn ideas into compelling visual stories and understands how content performs across modern digital channels.

What you will do:

• Produce end-to-end video content from concept, script and storyboards to editing, motion graphics and final delivery.
• Translate complex topics into clear, engaging video stories (corporate, social, learning or brand-focused).
• Adapt video for different channels including Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, internal communications, presentations and events.
• Work with animation, motion graphics, subtitling and visual effects.
• Maintain and evolve the brand's visual tone across all video outputs.
• Collaborate closely with designers, copywriters, marketing and communications teams.
• Experiment with new formats, continuously improving storytelling and engagement.
• Manage video projects end-to-end scoping, deadlines, feedback cycles and delivery.

What we expect:

• 3+ years of experience in video production, motion design or digital content creation.
• A portfolio demonstrating your style, storytelling ability, editing strengths and range of formats.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator (or equivalent tools).
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, composition, sound integration and editing principles.
• Experience creating content for different formats short-form vertical videos, explainers, corporate videos, social content, presentation assets.
• Awareness of what drives retention, engagement and why content "hooks" viewers.
• Good command of English (for scripts, subtitles or content adaptation).
• Preferably experience working with presentation tools (PowerPoint, Google Slides) and collaborative platforms such as Canva or Figma.

*This is a temporary position for 1 year. This position is offered under a civil contract (service agreement) for one year, with the possibility of extension upon mutual agreement. It is therefore not a permanent employment contract but a fixed-term engagement with DTEK.
