We are a rapidly growing creative studio working on a new, exciting animated project built upon the success of the established
HEY CLAY

brand, targeting family and children's audiences.

We are seeking an experienced
Social Media Comedy Writer

and
Content Maker

with a proven track record in creating short, viral, and hilarious stories for family and children's entertainment. You will be responsible for scripting short animated sketches that will serve as the face of our new project across all social media platforms.

This role is ideal for a creative professional who is fluent in the "language" of social platforms: possessing a deep understanding of
Short-Form Storytelling

and the mechanics of viewer retention through an effective
Strong Hook Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate ideas and write original, comedic scripts for short animated videos (sketches) that align with the brand's tone, character arcs, and project objectives.
  • Create content optimized for high
    engagement

and
virality

across leading social platforms.
- Trend Analysis:

Conduct regular
Trend Reports

(brief overviews) on the most popular and relevant formats, audio, and topics within the target category (children's and family content) for integration into the creative pipeline.
- Develop scripts within specified timeframes:
seconds.
- Collaborate closely with the creative and animation teams to ensure the feasibility and high quality of the final product.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Experience:

Proven, successful experience
(1+ year)

as a writer, copywriter, or content creator specializing in
comedy content for social media

, preferably within the animation segment.
- Specialization:

A deep understanding of the comedic mechanisms effective with
family and children's audiences (ages 6-12).
- Platforms:

Expert knowledge of the formats and algorithms of platforms such as
TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels.
- Language:

Fluency in one of the following languages is mandatory:
English

or
Ukrainian.
- Timing:

Ability to write concise scripts with impeccable comedic timing for short-form content.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Knowledge of the basics of
    SEO for YouTube

(keywords for titles/tags) and
A/B testing

mechanics for headlines/previews.
- Understanding of child and parent psychology to ensure content is
kid-friendly

and
parent-approved

(safe and relevant).
- Ability to adapt comedic style to a clearly defined animated project
Brand Voice.
