About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant – Snowflake/Azure with deep expertise in data warehousing, migration, and integration within the banking or financial services domain. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with Snowflake and Azure technologies, a strong grasp of core banking data flows, and the ability to engage directly with clients to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver robust Snowflake/Azure-based data frameworks tailored to client needs.

• Design and implement integrations with third-party applications and data sources.

• Develop and deploy data models aligned with business and regulatory requirements.

• Engage with clients throughout the end-to-end implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.

• Demonstrate a solution-oriented mindset, proactively adopting new technologies to meet evolving client needs.

Core Skills & Capabilities

• Proven ability to lead and deliver large/medium-scale data warehouse programs.

• Strong consulting expertise with advanced knowledge of Snowflake, Azure, and data warehousing concepts.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Mandatory Requirements

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in Snowflake/Azure development and administration.

• 4–6 full-cycle DWH implementations successfully delivered.

• Proficiency in Python for scripting, auditing, and data quality checks.

• Expertise in ETL/ELT design, including parameterization, workflow design, and reusability.

• Experience integrating with multiple data sources/targets via APIs and web services.

• Hands-on experience in Knowledge Module (KM) customization.

• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL scripting, and process flows.

• Experience with topology setup, monitoring, and load plan development.

• Proven ability in error handling, automation, and object migration.

• Experience in performance tuning, unit testing, and job scheduling.

• Familiarity with SQL Loader, import/export, and data migration tools.

Desirable Skills

• Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL, including stored procedures, triggers, and analytical functions.

• Experience in SQL tuning using explain plans and trace files.

• Strong grasp of partitioning and indexing strategies for performance optimization.

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and design documents.

• Functional knowledge of the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) domain.

• Experience in Snowflake/Azure infrastructure setup and optimization.

• Familiarity with complex financial data structures and reporting frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (MCA/BS/BE preferred).

• Industry-recognized certifications in Data Management, Cloud Platforms, or Snowflake/Azure.

• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and clients.
