• Providing psychological support to war-affected individuals who have experienced the MH consequences of trauma. To perform evidence-based psychological treatment for patients with severe posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and Complex PTSD, according to MSF principles, standards, and procedures to improve the patient's mental health.
• Carrying out the initial evaluation of mental health needs and establishing a diagnosis and a plan of treatment for all patients who meet the criteria for PTSD and CPTSD. Informing the patient and his/her relatives about the possible consequences of trauma, and referring patients to other health professionals, when necessary. Provide evidence-based treatment to improve the patient's condition.
• Providing psychological support and psychotherapy, individual sessions, or group sessions to patients who have experienced war-related trauma according to MSF protocols to improve their mental health conditions.
• Assist in training staff members and partners whenever necessary in referral criteria or any other training related to PTSD management.
• Accurate patients' data documentation and use of monitoring tools (e.g. MHOS, ITQ, CGI).
• Informing the supervisor, manager, and the medical team about any issues or problems related to patients' treatment to provide the best possible solution from a medical perspective. Attend weekly individual and group supervision of cases.
• Take an active role in training courses, multi-disciplinary and psychology meetings, and in group reflective practice.
• Ensuring that all patient information is accurate and kept confidential.

• Essential degree or diploma in Psychology. Master's degree in practical or clinical psychology preferred.
• Essential 2 years' experience minimum as a practicing psychologist providing psychotherapy. Training in evidence-based techniques for trauma, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or trauma processing psychotherapy preferable.
• Desirable experience in MSF or other NGOs in developing countries.
• Local language essential. Advanced or basic English language is mandatory.
