The Opportunity

We are looking for a Country Medical Director (CMD) to lead scientific, medical, and clinical excellence in Roche Ukraine. As a core member of our local affiliate leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic direction, fostering innovation, and enhancing patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive scientific and medical strategy as part of the affiliate leadership team, ensuring alignment with Roche's global vision and objectives.
   

• Lead and ensure robust medical compliance, serving as the local delegate of authority of Roche's Pharma Chief Medical Officer.
   

• Cultivate strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including healthcare leaders, policymakers, patient advocacy groups, and scientific communities.
   

• Champion our transformative medicines, facilitating their timely adoption and integration into clinical practice.
   

• Oversee strategic evidence generation, value demonstration, and scientific data dissemination aligned with local market needs.
   

• Foster a high-performance medical team culture, ensuring continuous professional growth and alignment with Roche's leadership framework.
   

• Manage and oversee local Medical Affairs functions, including clinical operations, medical enablement, quality, regulatory affairs, and patient partnerships.
   

Who You Are:

• Medical degree (MD preferred) with significant clinical or pharmaceutical medical affairs experience.
   

• Minimum of 5 years of senior medical leadership experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of drug development, commercialization, and medical compliance.
   

• Proven ability to lead cross-functionally and strategically in complex environments.
   

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
   

• Strong knowledge of local healthcare systems, regulatory and payer environments.
   

• Forward-thinking mindset, innovative approach, and excellent command of English.
