About the role:

We're looking for a skilled Java Developer who will focus on participating in pre-sales and project execution.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Participate in pre-sale (scope estimating, architecture solution preparing, etc.)
  • Ability to clearly communicate with the client and management
  • Develop highly performant and highly scalable backend cloud services and design data store schema, specifically with regards to reporting and dashboards, alerts and notification, as well as inventory management features.
  • Suggest, assess, and translate system functional and non-functional requirements into software implementation designs and data models.
  • Utilize new technologies and tools, as needed, while helping to build a cohesive system.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage, effective performance and load tests, timely resolution of issues, and other actions to assure delivery of quality software.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience with a BS in science (CS, Math, etc.).
  • Proved expertise in pre-sale and projects estimation
  • In-depth knowledge and experience building software using Java/Spring technologies.
  • Experience utilizing Relational databases and ORM concepts.
  • Proficient with API design and understanding of Microservices.
  • Experience building, optimizing, and scaling distributed systems. – Experience building software services running on the cloud (GCP, AWS, etc.).
  • Comfortable using Linux environments.
