About project

Our client is building a cutting-edge B2B marketplace platform that optimizes surplus inventory sales, such as products approaching their expiration date. The system connects sellers with buyers, ensuring operational control and optimal resource use. You will be key in scaling the Supabase-powered application and shaping the technical foundation.

Job details
Your area of responsibility
  • Maintaining and enhancing the B2B marketplace platform;
  • Implementing new features across the full stack;
  • Optimizing database queries and ensuring system performance;
  • Following and enforcing security best practices;
  • Refactoring and improving existing code for maintainability;
  • Collaborating closely with the founder to define and deliver technical requirements;
  • Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines;
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance for future team growth.
Skills and requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in React and modern JavaScript;
  • Strong skills in TypeScript;
  • Experience in Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first frameworks;
  • Solid knowledge in PostgreSQL and database design;
  • Familiarity with Supabase or similar BaaS platforms (e.g., Firebase);
  • Experience in authentication and authorization systems;
  • Understanding of serverless architecture;
  • Expertise in Git workflows;
  • Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English.
Will be a plus
  • Experience in B2B platforms or e-commerce systems;
  • Experience in PDF generation;
  • Expertise in building real-time features with Supabase;
  • Understanding of the German language.
